“ We had an amazing experience thanks to our server, Sandy! Even though she was handling a full section and dealing with a credit card machine issue, her service never skipped a beat. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without any delays. You could tell she genuinely cared about making our dining experience great, despite the challenges. A true professional with a great attitude! Big shoutout to Sandy--if you dine here, I hope you get her as your server. Highly recommend! Thank you for making my night out w my best friend and her daughter amazing. ”
“ Great laid back run down vibes. Good place for a beer with a bunch of friends. While waiting for a friend I Picked up a girl here who used to be an escort. Nothing happened. But hey, that's the clientele they get. ”
“ Stumbled into this bar last week - what a treat! Our server, Ethan, was fantastic and very attentive! So perfect for my daughter (should I bring her next time?) The food is great, but not great for my waistline! There goes my New Year's resolution - LOL. So many TVs on the walls to keep my husband occupied which is a major plus! We will be back soon, with my daughter of course! ”
“ Stumbled upon this gastropub and I'm so glad we tried this place out! We got their smash burger and buffalo sauced wings and they were all cooked well! The smash burger was a bit on the saltier side so if you like salt- this is your place! Very chill and laid back atmosphere. Service was okay, we had to hunt down someone couple times but overall we really liked this restaurant! ”
“ I live just down the block from the sports bar and have always wanted to try so I came for happy hour-- they have a ton of great deals! Highly recommend their burger + fries and corn dog. Super affordable very tasty and great ambience to chill and hang out with your friends. I come here once every few weeks if I'm craving one of the above since its a great HH deal and sooo close to me! Street parking only. Service is fast. The bar get super crowded on big game day so beware! You may want to consider coming early to snag a table or seats, otherwise it can fill up. ”
“ What a great and random find!! Came with with a friend to catch up and have a quick bite and drink. We ended up staying here for almost 4 hours! Their happy hour is absolutely fantastic and runs from 2-7, probably the best I've seen so far in this area. Huge selection of drinks on sale and lots of food options. Food was delicious and portions were great for being happy hour selections! Sandy our server was so helpful and attentive. Always made sure we had what we needed and that we were never thirsty LOL We happened to be here on a night where they were doing trivia, which of course added to our time here. We had such a blast and almost came in the top three!! Overall, we had an amazing time. Founders has definitely made it to my list of local spots to stop in if I need to kill some time for traffic to ease up. ”
“ I finally returned to try to their food and this place still slaps 5 stars! First thing is first, the highlight of the review goes to Sandy who was an absolute gem! Her customer service has far exceeded any bar, lounge, or 5 star restaurant I have ever gone to. She was welcoming, attentive, kind, personable, *insert more high praises here.* If you happen to be waited by her, it will make the experience here all the more enjoyable. Onto the food, they have HH from 2pm - 7pm. $7 four roses old fashioned cocktails, $10 burger and fries, $11 beer and a shot. Perhaps the best HH i've been to in a good minute. Especially with this LA traffic, sometimes you can never reach a HH in time. Several TV's playing sports, great music being played, and unbeknownst to us Tuesday trivia with Bradey! 6 rounds of fun questions. In case yall didn't know, mustard is the most popular condiment on a hotdog. You're welcome. ”
“ Great sports pub with a dart board near the back and a 2nd level of space. Its a fun rustic area to hang out. Staff is nice and friendly. Enjoyed the food. It's just as you would expect at a pub. Just the amount you need. They also have a Happy Hour from 1pm-7pm which included a burger and beer for $11. Everything is decently priced in general. Only negative thing is parking. You have to street park, but it is LA. ”
“ This was my first time at Founders Ale House, but it will not be my last. First, let's talk about their hospitality and friendliness. As a fan of the NY METS, I was looking for a place to watch Game #2 of the NL Division series, which was not easy in a Sunday when most places are focused on football (and with the Dodgers playing much later in the day). Several places said "no," but Founders said "come in and we'll make it work. Sure enough, they put me in a secondary area, tuned 3 TV's to the game, and others soon joined. Bartender Carter and server Ethan both did their best to take care of us, and they deserve major kudos for caring as they did. As to the ambiance: yes, it's a sports bar, but with enough wood and well-designed decor to give it a homier feeling than most. Most impressive is their very well-designed AV system, which gives them excellent control over their TV's and the ability to isolate sound in the various spaces -- that means we were able to have the audio for our baseball game playing through the house speakers in our room while the main room was playing football. Well done! As to the food... Drinks were generous and tasty. My Parmesan truffle wings were VERY tasty, very crispy (as requested), and so big I could only eat 4 of the 6 in the small order (see photo). Burgers at adjacent tables looked excellent, and I'm thinking you'd be hard-pressed to find fault with anything at this very accommodating, top notch hangout. ”
“ Stopped by late evening on a Saturday with my partner! We recently moved into the area and wanted to check it out . The location is spacious and nice. It was pretty empty, but we absolutely loved the place. It was EXACTLY what we were looking for. We don't always love super noisy, packed, and chaotic places - it was super laid back. There are a bunch of TVs with variety of sports, and they were playing the type of music we like to listen to (pop and throwbacks). We realized they had happy hour which was an extra plus for us!! We ordered the Smash burger and Fries for only $10! Truly a STEAL. Everything tasted great - good classic bar food. My partner ordered a margarita too. The bartender was super friendly! We learned about their trivia nights on Tuesday which gets a good crowd. Overall, we really loved this place and will definitely be coming back! Super laid back. Nice place to get with friends for drinks and a chill hang out. We walked but there is plenty of street parking nearby! ”
